Youth Pre-Pointe & Pointe
Pre-Pointe focuses on preparation and conditioning for the experienced ballet dancer who wishes to go "en pointe". These classes stress the development of the necessary strength and muscle tone with particular emphasis on correct body alignment as well as feet. Pointe will continue the emphasis on vocabulary and technique. Students begin to learn the concepts and execution of combinations at the barre and in the center. Must also be enrolled in 1 hour and a half Ballet techniques class - no exceptions. These classes are by teacher recommendation.
